Industrial exhaust air purification system nominated for the Energy Efficiency Award 2021!

Everyone is talking about climate protection and resource efficiency. We want to make a significant contribution to this with our daily work. For our customer, Albert Rechtenbacher GmbH, we have developed and installed a heat pump-based exhaust air purification system, which is used in the paint store and in surface treatment. Using the condensation principle, solvents can now be separated from the exhaust air and the exhaust air cleaned using an activated carbon filter. In addition, the waste heat from the heat pump is used to heat the cleaning water for the washing system of the parts to be painted, for process air conditioning and for heating the building. The system is particularly efficient when heat and cold are used simultaneously.

The Energy Efficiency Award has been presented internationally since 2007 and is awarded annually to private and public companies by the German Energy Agency (dena) under the patronage of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier. Prizes are awarded to innovative entrepreneurs who have implemented energy-efficient measures or developed sustainable, environmentally friendly concepts. The prestigious award is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).

On November 8, 2021, 6 award winners from 17 nominated projects will be announced at the dena Energy Transition Congress at the bcc Congress Center Berlin.
