Options for geothermal energy development

1. groundwater drilling
2. deep drilling (approx. 70-150m)
3. cylindrical geothermal basket (Ø approx. 0.2-0.8m / length up to 4m)
4. conical geothermal basket (Ø approx. 1.4 to 1m / length up to 2 m)
5. surface collector

The size and number of geothermal collectors depend on the existing heat requirement and the geological conditions.

By the way: it is not only worth considering converting to a heat pump heating system for new builds, but also for renovations!
