There was great joy at the Energy Efficiency Award ceremony on November 8, 2021 in Berlin. SIMAKA won the coveted energy efficiency prize in the "from clever to digital" category, proving that diligence, perseverance, technical advancements and the drive to create something new pay off.
With its highly efficient exhaust air purification system based on heat pump technology, SIMAKA impressed a jury of representatives from politics, business, the media and research. Energy savings, relevance to climate protection, innovation and cost-effectiveness are the top priorities when evaluating the projects.
17 energy-related projects were nominated for the award in advance from over 130 applications. There are three categories for the award. This year marks the 15th time that dena (German Energy Agency) has presented the award to public and private sector companies that have developed innovative and successful methods or processes for saving energy. The award is under the patronage of Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier.
