SIMAKA Managing Director Karsten Uitz, a graduate engineer in environmental process engineering, and his son and service employee Simon Uitz were invited by Tesla to their company headquarters in Fremont, California, despite a general ban on entering the USA due to the coronavirus. Tesla arranged for the US Embassy to issue a special entry permit.
The mission took place in the first week of January 2021. It was a busy, intensive and very successful week for the SIMAKA team. In addition to the performance achieved, many motivating impressions were gained.
